Ana Vargas is based in Caracas Venezuela and has worked in Italy, India and USA. Ana holds an Architecture Degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urbanism from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is a registered architect in Venezuela. Her work focuses on projects related to architecture, urbanism and participatory urban design, as well as research and publications. She is currently professor and researcher for the Urbanism Institute at the Architecture Faculty of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She is founder and director of Tracing Public Space an NGO focused on teaching children urban design skills to transform public spaces within their communities.
